Just outside Pacific Rim National Park lie the ocean side resorts that front the wonderful beaches of the west coast of Vancouver Island. One of these is Middle Beach and this image captures the essence of the area. It has a soft gentle lazy stream of fresh water slowly making its way over the velvet sand to the Pacific ocean passing through the hard immoveable rocks thrown up by violent geological events.
