Description
Winter on Vancouver Island is an iffy affair if you want snow and ice; it’s usually just too warm. But in this particular year, we did get temperatures cold enough to glaze the waters of Beaver Lake in Victoria with a skim of ice. I had to shoot this unusual occurrence and did so through the surviving rushes and weeds of the lake. Camera: Canon AE 1. Film: Eastman Kodak Cine film. EI 80. Edition of 25.
